Like most professional advisors, we take a proactive approach with our clients and their properties. Our account managers and crews continuously look for ways to improve the residential or commercial property we service. SVL’s landscape enrichment solutions are designed to update a customer’s existing landscape plan. They add long-term value and quality to a property, and can range from accenting a special feature, to developing a complete site renovation. Some examples of our landscape enhancements include: turf restoration and installation, new landscape design, seasonal color rotation, incorporating hardscape features, plant replacement programs, landscape lighting, irrigation modifications, erosion control, etc.

Water Management
A comprehensive water management plan can help kick-start a successful water management program. SVL works with customers by helping them set water conservation goals and identifying water conservation opportunities. Our water management plans include clear details about how a facility uses its water and how it can save water through various actions and/or changes. Knowledge of current water consumption and costs is essential for making the most appropriate water management decisions. Fertilization and Mulch Application
Fertilization is a very important component of plant health care in any landscape. As part of SVL’s regular maintenance service, we will mulch materials when acceptable to provide natural fertilization to lawns and gardens. In addition to these organic clippings, we can provide commercial mulch to retain moisture, reduce erosion, provide nutrients, and suppress weed growth and seed germination. When necessary, we will also supplement essential mineral elements in the soil to maintain an optimum supply for landscape health and growth.

Weed and Pest Management
No one wants to see weeds and pests taking over their landscape. At SVL we take weeds and pests very seriously. We deal with all kinds of pest issues and help remove them from the property as quickly as possible. While pests can undermine irrigation and the general landscape, there is also a never ending battle with weeds and other vegetation. Speed and proactive spraying measures often will keep weeds and other vegetation at bay. SVL strives to use non-toxic herbicides that are safe for the general public and their animals.

Irrigation Maintenance
Irrigation systems are a combination of moving and static parts that must be regularly maintained and repaired. At SVL we provide the following services to ensure the irrigation system is running at peak efficiency: irrigation equipment inspection on a regular basis and repairs as needed, adjustment of sprinklers for head-to-head coverage, inspection for leaks and repairs as needed, examination of the automatic irrigation timer, and seasonal sprinkler adjustments.
